Walk-A-Thon is Almost Here!

The Walk-A-Thon is this Friday! Join us October 6th at 2:15pm on our school field! A flyer has been sent home with details. This is one of the biggest PTA fundraisers for the school. Grades will compete for raising the most money -- and get fun prizes along the way!

Week 1 - The grade that raises the most wins Popcorn and Extra Recess

Week 2 - The grade that raises the most gets to be DJ (pick walkathon songs)

Week 3 - The grade that raises the most gets a PJ/Stuffy party

Overall Grade Winner - Class Pizza Party

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE WALK-A-THON?

Your children will walk a mile on the Rowayton school field on Friday, October 6th at 2pm. Fun music and t-shirts will be provided. Come cheer your children on!

HOW DO MY CHILDREN RAISE MONEY?

Teach your children about fundraising and communication with family and friends, in addition to raising money for the PTA! To help reach your child's goal in a fun and enriching manner, we have included https://app.99pledges.com/fund/rowayton2023 for them to send to family and friends.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

The PTA supports initiatives like teacher classroom wish lists, enrichment programs, field trips, and helping families in need throughout the year, just to name a few!

October Wellness Celebrates All Thing Pink!

The Color of the Month for October is Pink! Pink can represents kindness, love, shyness, or embarassment. Throughout the month, students will learn about these emotions and participate in activities that support wellness. Students will incorporate pink themes into body, heart, and mind activities. We ask families to join us by considering activities, crafts, or healthy snacks that can be used to promote wellness as we celebrate October! Thanks to the Staff and PTA Wellness Committees for facilitating this initiative!
