Join Us for the Patriotic Sing Along

We are excited to welcome families to our annual Patriotic Sing Along on Thursday at 10:00am. This year's event will be held on the blacktop in the back of the school. Families are invited to bring blankets or chairs to view this event, and sing along with students.

Students are welcome to bring towels for sitting that day.

Kindergarten through Grade 3: Any red, white, and blue attire

4th and 5th Grades: blue Rowayton Music shirts

All students are encouraged to wear any red, white, and blue accessories.

Field Day is Friday! Volunteers Still Needed

We are excited to host an all school Field Day on May 24. The rain date is May 30. Grade levels and teachers are coordinating class colors and attire. Each student will receive a bracelet that day to indicate that they be part of of the blue or yellow team. Classes will participate in a series of stations on the field to earn points for their color team. At 3:00pm, we will all gather on the field to cheer on our fifth graders in a final game of tug of war and announce the winning team. All students will also get a chance to visit the inflatable obstacle course in the gym. The rest of the day will be filled with activities that you can coordinate with your child's teacher.

We are looking for parents and families to volunteer to help make this day extra special. Look out for a ParentSquare email from Mrs. Martin this week to sign up.

Some reminders for Field Day:

students should have a water bottle labeled with their names
sunscreen must be applied before school
hats and sunglasses are allowed
athletic gloves and towels are optional
students should wear sneakers - no Crocs or sandals
students should dress comfortably
parents can coordinate refreshing snacks with teachers - fruit and water recommended

Band and Orchestra Spring Concert

A message from Mr. Kiernan:

We are having our end of the year band and orchestra concert on May 30 at 6:00pm on the front lawn of the school. Families are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to view the concert.

Student Attire:

Tan pants or skirt

Spring colored shirt or Rowayton Music shirt
