One School, One Book: You are Invited to Share a Wish!

Before we began reading Wishtree, each student in the school was invited to write a wish on a piece of fabric that now hangs from our trees in front of the school. We invite the members of our community to also share their wishes with us! There is a basket of fabric by the main office. If you visit, please write your wish and you can hang it on the tree or we will hang it for you.

Don't forget to keep up with your reading and optional activities. You can find read alouds on our school website under the activities tab.

Save the Date for the 2024 Rowayton School Carnival

Save the Date: Rowayton School Carnival 2024

Friday, May 3rd + Saturday May 4th (raindate Sunday May 5th)

Mark your calendars, prepare your special no-rain ceremonies, and get ready for a weekend to remember1

Want to join the committee? We are looking for two more Rowayton School parents to join the lean and mean carnival committee. Email co-chairs Amy Esparza and Liz Slutzky at Amy.Paden1@gmail.com and lcslutzky@gmail.com with interest.

Interested in volunteering at carnival? We will be sending a Sign Up Genius around to all families with plenty of opportunities to help out. Thanks in advance!

When can I buy my bracelets? Ticket sales will open online in early April and in person the week leading up to carnival.

Get pumped. It’s all for the kids.

Adventures with Elvis

Elvis has left the building! Well...he left the pet store and moved to Rowayton School! Please join us in welcoming Elvis, a very special long haired Guinea Pig. Mrs. Saunders helped bring Elvis to our school and her class is doing an amazing job of welcoming him to our community. They are learning to care for him and including him in daily activities. Mrs. Saunders's class will be bringing him to classes so we can all meet him. Exposure to animals for the purpose of learning is a wonderful experience for our students. Thanks, Mrs. Saunders! Elvis ROCKS! Check out some photos from Elvis's first week at school.
