2025 Pumpkin Parade

Pumpkin Parade: The parade will begin at 2:15pm on Friday, October 31 and will proceed around the blacktop and driveway circle. There will be two designated areas for viewing.

Costumes and Attire: Students may dress in costumes, orange and black, or any fall inspired attire. Costumes are not required for the parade.

Costume Guidelines: Please avoid scary masks or costumes that may frighten young children. We want this day to be enjoyable for all of our students. Please do not send children to school with any accessories that resemble a weapon.

Costumes worn to school should allow students to participate in the regular school day (including recess, lunch, and using the bathroom). Any accessories or costume masks should be kept in backpacks or bags until it is time for the parade. Please no full face make-up during the school day.

Students may also wear clothing that will fit under their costume and bring the costume to school. We are asking that students be prepared to independently put on their costumes over their clothing. Costumes should be labeled and packed in backpacks or bags.

*Kindergarten parents will receive a separate communication from your child’s teacher regarding costume guidelines for that day

Safety Reminders

A reminder that we have procedures in place in order to reduce the number of visitors in the building.

  • Please always ring the bell at the front door and state the purpose of your visit when prompted.
  • When delivering items such as sneakers, water bottles, lunch boxes, or instruments, Mr. Rey will get them from you at the door or you may be asked to leave them near the steps.
  • If students are arriving late, only the students need to enter the building. Please state their names and the reason for the late arrival when prompted and we will sign them in and get them to class.
  • If you are entering the building, please do not hold the door for anyone behind you. Each party visiting the school must ring the bell.
  • Please bring your ID every time you are visiting either to volunteer or pick up your child.
  • Lost and Found in the cafeteria can be visited after school (3:55pm).
