OSOB Friendship Bracelets and School Neighborhood
This week our OSOB Committee presented each class with a bag of friendship bracelets and hand written notes. Classes also received a giant friendship bracelet to decorate their rooms. The committee also displayed all of the homes students returned to create our very own neighborhood. Thanks to the committee for bringing this great book to life!

Monday 4-22
Earth Day: Walk, Bike, or Roll to School Day
Tuesday 4-23
Campus Clean Up: students learn about the importance of keeping our campus beautiful
Wednesday 4-24
Screen Free Day: students will be screen free for most of the day at school and at home
American Ninja Warrior Assembly
Internet Safety Zoom for Parents Only at 7pm
Thursday 4-25
Nature Walks: students will go on nature walks or scavenger hunts / students can make nature mandalas
Friday 4-26
Arbor Day: Presentation with Davey Tree Company / Students get seedlings to take home
Pizza Truck Raffle
We are having a Pizza Truck Party Raffle! The cost is $100 a ticket which includes a 2 hour pizza truck (including pizza, salad, wings & dessert) for 50 PEOPLE at the location of your choice!
This would be a great graduation party/birthday party/family party opportunity. So please share with everyone you can! Many families would love to have this for their child’s upcoming graduation party!
The drawing is scheduled for April 26th!
Please feel free to SHARE this with local families/friends! Tickets may be sold to anyone in the state of CT, they do not have to have a child at Rowayton Elementary School.

Interested in volunteering at carnival? We will be sending a Sign Up Genius around to all families with plenty of opportunities to help out. Thanks in advance!
When can I buy my bracelets? Ticket sales will open online in early April and in person the week leading up to carnival.

Cell Phone and Communication Device Policy
Students are not to use their cell phones or communication devices while at school. This includes smart watches, wireless earbuds, wearable tech, or any device that allows messaging and/or calls. These devices are not allowed in any learning spaces within the school including but not limited to the gym, library, cafeteria, bathrooms, recess areas, and classrooms.
If a student is found to be carrying or using a device during school hours, the device will be confiscated for parent or guardian pick up in the main office. Office hours are 8:00am -4:oopm Monday through Friday when school is in session.
If your student needs to have a device for communication outside of school please follow the following procedure.
1. Turn the device completely off before entering school
2. Secure the device in a backpack before entering school
*The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen devices.
