Important Candy and Food Reminders

With Valentine’s Day approaching, please keep our district policy regarding candy and food in mind. Food allergies and restrictions are very serious and we ask for your cooperation in promoting safety in school. When choosing Valentines, prizes, crafts, activities, or goodie bags for your child’s class, please consider options other than food or candy. Some teachers may organize a class treat and will communicate this with parents so that you can opt out or provide an alternative for your child.

Please always encourage your children to bring any treats they might receive to an adult to be inspected and approved first.
